Ragi Malt

Ragi malt is a good drink for people of all ages. I am adding sugar to this, so people with diabetes can prepare this without sugar. But definitely for kids this will be a great nourishing drink during summer and other seasons too.

Ingredients required

Water – 300ml or One glass
Ragi flour – 1 spoon
Sugar – 1 spoon
Jaggery – 1 spoon
Cardamom powder – a pinch
Badam powder (almonds powdered) – 1 spoon

Take water in a cooking pan, add Ragi flour, jaggery and sugar and stir well. Stir well so that no lumps are formed. Then heat it till it starts boiling. Keep stirring occasionally. Once it is boiled enough and you can see that it has come to the consistency of thin soup, put it through a sieve. Now the Ragi malt is ready. To this add some cardamom powder and Badam powder to enhance the taste. You can add little milk. For one glass of Ragi malt you can add half glass of Milk. Drink it either hot or cold as per your liking.

This very nutritious and healthy drink.
